Partners in Progress is focused on making Houston a better place by educating kids, beautifying parks and medians, and other projects. Hobby Group is helping Partners in Progress by providing support for computer centers where children can learn basic computer skills.

(Y.E.S.S.) Youth Educational Support Services

1) Educating the public about the significance of Galveston Bay relative to its contribution to local and State economies

2) Reducing the dropout rate among the growing at-risk student population in the greater Houston area

3) Enhancing, protecting and preserving the Galveston Bay estuary

4) Promoting safe boating practices among recreational boaters. The unique approach taken by the BaySmart Program accomplishes these goals in an exciting and cost effective manner.
